M&M’s new “Forum” section opens with “Sounding Together: A Conversation with Musicians from the Jewish-Palestinian Peace Initiative Standing Together Vienna.” Edited and with an introduction by the ethnomusicologist and Yiddish singer Isabel Frey, the text documents a conversation between her and the musicians Marwan Abado, Natalie Adler-Oppenheim, Golnar Shahyar, and Sakîna Têyna about their participation in Standing Together Vienna and the role of music in the initiative. Audio and video recordings of the performances discussed accompany the text. The full contribution can be read here: https://doi.org/10.52413/mm.2026.55
